NEXRAD Anomaly: PORCUPINE
Anomalies such as the one above are caused by internal interference within the NEXRAD
site itself or component failure such as dirty or bad slip rings, bad signal
contacts on the slip rings or noise in the receiver. Essentially, the NEXRAD transmitter
is interfering with the receiver of the same NEXRAD site or one of the above components
is failing.
